Full Moon Paddle

What is the San Joaquin River like at night? The
river is alive with the activities and sounds of its inhabitants! Join us as we
paddle the San Joaquin River in the light of a full moon surrounded by its
wildlife and symphony of sound. This year the Stewardship Program will be
offering monthly Full Moon Paddles from June through September. For safety, we
will be taking a very familiar route, Lost Lake Park to The Fresno County
Sportsman’s Club. We will be starting at twilight, witnessing a beautiful sunset,
and allowing our eyes to adjust to moonlight. Then our senses will be strained
as we absorb the sights and sounds of the river in the moonlight. You will
always remember this experience!
The Stewardship Program will provide guides for your
trip, stable sit-on-top kayaks, and life jackets. All you need to bring is your
personal gear and a spirit of adventure. Space is limited for the Full Moon
Paddles. Invite your family and friends and register today!
